Hi, our names are Dan & Melissa DeBono. We lived, met and married in Michigan. We moved to South Florida more than 17 years ago, and began weekending in Lake Placid a few years after that. We loved it so much, we decided to move full time and we love it now more than ever - the lakes, parks, people, central location and all there is to do is great!

Melissa is an award-winning, full-time Realtor with All About Realty Of Lake Placid, Inc. She is a multi-million dollar per year producer with a LOT of knowledge of the area, current market values and what's "out there." She has a LOT of experience selling waterfront resorts, large waterfront properties, condos, vacant land and a wide variety of homes. She was the #1 selling agent in our entire area MLS in 2010 and has been a top-5 agent in virtually all the major categories (total dollar, total units, etc.) every year for years now.

Melissa understands business and efficiency and brings that to her career in real estate. She ran the production and fulfillment side of the financial publications that Dan was working on (see below). She bid multimillion dollar print jobs to huge printers throughout the USA, and was responsible from pre-press to delivery of some of the largest print jobs for many Fortune 500 companies. However, Melissa enjoys the small-town lifestyle so she searched many locations throughout the state, and found her favorite to be the Lake Placid/Sebring area, which is also close to many of Florida's nicest cities.

Though not what I'd consider the “salesy” (certainly not pushy) type, Melissa began a new career in real estate about 10 years ago and hasn’t looked back - she’s been an award-winning top producer because of the way she does business: honestly and efficiently!

I am the broker/owner of All About Realty Of Lake Placid, Inc. When I'm not selling homes or boating on the lake, I still write (what I've been doing professionally for a long time). I have written for dozens of Fortune 500 companies (if you have stocks or mutual funds, you've probably read something I've written!). I've also written hundreds of features and articles for newspapers, magazines, and I now have two novels published.
