- Placid Lakes has an 18-hole, par 72 golf & Country Club. It's located at 3601 Jefferson Ave. (863) 465-1626. It was just completely renovated and it's nice! There are many homes in this beautiful golf course community - directly on and near the course and around the two huge lakes - Lake June and Lake Placid. All About Realty Of Lake Placid was proud to be the first corporate sponsor of the new course when it reopened! Click for their Web site.
Leisure Lakes also has a par-3 golf course. There is a motel with a built-in pool (right on Lake June) and tennis courts. We've had family and friends stay here and it's always been nice and clean. There are homes right across the street from the golf course that are on a canal into Lake June - one of Florida's best swimming, boating, fishing and recreational lakes!
- Lake Country Golf, Inc., 135 Sun 'n Lake Blvd., Lake Placid, FL 33852 (863) 465-5303. Sun 'N Lakes is a large golf/lake community. There are a couple hi-rise condo complexes and town homes near or directly fronting the golf course. Call for information on golf carts, tee times, memberships, etc.
- Country Club Of Sebring is a great course with a great golf course community. It's one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in all of Central Florida! The development is bordered by Highlands Hammock State Park - one of Florida's best parks with trees over 500 years old!
- Spring lake is a beautiful golf community with 3 courses that are reputed to be among the area's best! There are homes to fit most budgets - some spectacular, huge executive homes and nice 2br golf frontage town homes or smaller single family homes near the course.
