Hello and welcome to Our Lake Placid Christmas & Holiday Decorating Contest.

For years, many of us have been driving around during the holidays, marveling at the many beautifully-decorated homes in the area, so we thought we'd give a little back to the people who work so hard so we can all enjoy the holidays just a little more.

The contest is simple: Drive around and note the address of any home you think is well decorated and then vote right here. Find at least one, but preferably your top three homes, and use the simple form below to cast your vote.

There will be one vote per valid email address (homes should be in the 33852 zip code - we may include Sebring next year, but we'll start with Lake Placid).

All About Realty will award the cash prizes as follows: First Prize is $100.00 cash. Second Prize is $50.00 and Third Prize is $25.00. Several area businesses have also expressed interest in helping to sponsor the contest, so we'll announce other prizes as they are made available.

The Lake Placid Journal, The NewsSun and The Highlands Today are all providing valuable "real estate" in their papers to announce the contest and winners so we thank them very much for the opportunity to make this a great little event. The Highlands Today will also provide a nice little gift!

We will start taking votes right away and the winner will be announced Wednesday, December 21st.
